May is a special month in many countries – winter is forgotten and nature awakens to new life. In addition to the coming warm season, May is dedicated to the love of parents in many countries. It is a time to honor those special people who have shaped, supported and loved us – our mothers and fathers.

In Germany this year, we celebrate Mother’s Day on May 12 and Father’s Day is on May 9. Hardly any other occasion offers us the opportunity to thank them from the bottom of our hearts. Mothers and fathers are the heroes of everyday life who give us values and dreams. They are sources of generosity and strength who are always at our side, no matter what life brings. In their peace and serenity we find support. A fine writing instrument is a wonderful way to express our gratitude and give them pleasure that will last.

For many lovers of the art of writing, this passion often comes from one of their parents. This was also the case for our CEO Marco Frei, who grew up surrounded by writing instruments and inherited his love for this craft. This connection between parents and their passions is something very special and deserves recognition.
