Power, vitality and renewal: the new year holds many things in store. No wonder that the Pantone color institute has chosen the hue that embodies all these qualities as the color of the year. Viva Magenta 18-1750 vibrates with optimism, joy and verve. Coming from the red color family, the dark pink shade appears fearless and vibrant. At Otto Hutt, the year 2023 is shaped by Viva Magenta.

Full of courage and strength

The shade Viva Magenta was added to the Pantone color palette in 2019. The shade owes its rapid transformation into a favorite to the spirit of the time. An unconventional time needs unconventional colors. According to Pantone, Viva Magenta represents the desire to live and the rebellious spirit. Thus, Viva Magenta became the star of 2023, which bursts with joy and optimism and writes a new history.

In the era of reflection, innovation and change, Viva Magenta represents the expansive possibilities that lie ahead. The vibrant mix of red and pink is powerful, empowering and reflected in nature. As signal of courage and strength, the color encourages experimentation, uninhibited self-expression and breaking new ground. Viva Magenta is not just a color, but rather an outstanding statement.

Balancing between warm and cool, this shade unites the physical with the virtual. The color of the year expands our horizons so that even in difficult times we find the courage and motivation to carry on. Viva Magenta is inclusive and there for all who want to engage with its power and verve.
